The Inquirer reported today that the PMS Chief rejected the recommendation of the PAGC to suspend three cabinet secretaries for alleged graft on the basis of their failure to respond to a letter within the 15-day reglementary period given to them.

It is very disturbing to hear that government executives can walk out of the allegations against them just by not responding to communications. If the President is serious about cleaning her administration of corrupt officials, she can start by sending a stronger message than a "warning for failure to respond to a letter" to her staff.
